**You are invited to participate in a United Methodist Volunteer in Mission Trip, October 10-16, 2010 going to Hinton Rural Life Center in western North Carolina.  The trip has been organized by an experienced leadership team from the Shenedehowa United Methodist Church of Clifton Park, N.Y.  David and Judy Murphy are signed up to go and they encourage others to consider this exciting opportunity.

The Hinton Center is owned and operated by the North Carolina Conference of the UMC and is situated in a beautiful, mountainous region where there is extensive poverty.  Task will include working on homes in the area, maintenance at the center, and help in the various ministry stations at the center.
