making meals happen

The Montpelier Home Delivery Program is a non-profit organization that delivers meals to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in the Montpelier-Berlin area. We believe that every senior should have access to healthy & nutritious meals to function safely at home for as long as possible. Through the dedication of our volunteers we provide the lifeline that many of these seniors need in order to maintain their independence by making hot and frozen meals available throughout the week.  Please contact Kimberley Lashua for more information 456-7448.

What To Expect

We will work directly with clients and their family members to address the client's need and together we create a delivery plan. Depending on those needs we can deliver hot meals and frozen meals throughout the week.

Volunteers

We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the week.  These opportunities range from fundraising events to delivering meals.  While some of our volunteers delivery hot meals weekly we have many other who delivery frozen meals on a monthly bases.  Depending on your gifts we can find meaning work to fit your schedule.

Donations

Community support & fundraising continues to be a vital part to our ongoing success. All clients are given the opportunity to make an anonymous donation to the program, however no client will be denied services. While our program receives supplemental funding from the federal government through the Old American’s Act we must fill the funding gaps.
